lust and likeability (according to eye magazine)
#67 eye magazine recently did a typeface critique of "elegant, chunky, nervy, bookish, perfumed" typefaces. 95 designers were contacted to rank and rate a long list of typefaces, and this is a sample of what they came up with...

oh man, this is awesome! yay typography!
In my eyes, Odile is definitely the heavy hitter.
I was a bit astonished by the analysis of these fonts. Though they had humanist understanding of the style, their feelings on the text seemed dependent on aesthetic sensibilities. No?
